1. Population:
As of 2078 Mangsir 9 29164578. The male population is 14253551, and the female population is 14911027 which is 48.87% and 51.13% respectively. The population sex ratio is 95.59 per 100 females which was 94.16 in 2011.
2. Other gender population:
As per the result of the national census 2021 the population of the other gender is 2,928 which is 0.01% of the total population. 32.7 percent of the other gender population resides in Bagmati Province which is the most portion and the least portion 2.8% is in Karnali Province.

10. Main Source of Drinking Water:
57 % of families are using tap or pipe, 29.8% are using tube well/ handpump, 1.5% are using well, 3.9% are using main tap, and 4.6% are using jar/bottles as the main source of drinking water.
11. Main Source of Lighting:
The previous census had reported that 67% are using electricity but is has increased to 92.2% during this census. 6.6% are using solar power, and the rest are using other sources as the main source of lighting.
12. Toilet Facility:
Among the 66,60,841 families, 95.5% of families use any kind of toilet but 4.5% of families are still out of reach of toilets. Despite this data, a huge improvement has been seen because, during the previous census, 38.2% of families were out of reach of toilets.
13. Female ownership in house and land:
23.8% of families have granted the ownership of a house or land or both to females. In the family, 11.8% of females have the ownership of land or house or both, which was only 1.1% in the last census.
14. Absentee abroad:
During the census, among the 15,55,961 families 21,90,592 people are absent because of living abroad, out of that 82.2% are male and 17.8% are female.
15. Female Household Head:
According to the census 2078, among 66,66,937 families 31.55% of families have female household heads, which is 5.82% more than that of the last census.
16. Marital Status:
According to the Nepal census 2021, 51.9% of the total male population and 64.3% of the total female population are married.
17. Age at first marriage:
34.4% of the total population got married between the age of 18 and 20. Those who got married between the age of 25 and 17 are 22.3%. 0.3% of people got married at the age of below 10, which shows the child marriage problem is still alive in Nepal.
18. Disability:
2.2% of the total population have any kind of disability, among which 54.2 percent are male and 45.8% are female.
19. Literacy Rate:
Total population of 5 years or above has a 76.2% literacy rate. The literacy rate of males is 83.6 whereas the female literacy rate is 69.4%. According to the previous census, the total literacy rate was only 65.9%
